(Our first carbon offset project is the Freund Family Dairy’s Methane capture projects. Methane is 23X more climate-harmful than CO2, so capturing methane is a crucial project on this family-owned farm. The methane is captured/removed using a biodigester and then used for heat and other uses on the farm; the remaining dried, odorless manure is re-used for products such as the biodegradable self-composting planting pots which Mike Rowe discusses in the video below):
